The Vernon Cadet Camp Museum is becoming a go to destination when visitors come to the Okanagan Valley. The mission of the museum is to preserve, exhibit and interpret artifacts, icons and memorabilia in order to promote the Military and Cadet history in the Vernon Area, to foster a deeper understanding of the Military and Cadet experience within the broader context of Canadian history among veterans, former cadet communities in the Vernon area and all Canadians. The successful candidate(s) will understand these values and goals and must be willing to assist the museum in achieving them.
Employment dates can be from June 1 through August 31, but will be adjusted for each individual cadet. Salary is set at $16.00/hour. Hours will be set based on the funding and number of Cadet who apply.

- in good standing with your cadet corps/squadron,
- be 16 or older,
- have applied to a CTC and not been offered a position for the summer, and
Qualifications:
- a willingness to learn;
Tasks and job requirement:
- working in the kit shop;
- display repairs and maintenance;
- Public interactions;
- working in the archives; and
- other tasks as assigned and needed.
