72nd Seaforth Highlanders of Canada Cadet Corps

 ​This Corps was formed as No 72 "The Seaforth Highlanders Cadet  Battalion" (with 4 Companies) effective 8 January 1913.  (The  number 72 was allotted to Strathroy Collegiate Institute in the  Militia List of 1904, and in Militia Order 38 forming the  Seaforths in 1913, Strathroy was renumbered as No. 11.)  The  corps was, from the date of its formation, attached to the "72nd  Seaforth Highlanders of Canada".  According to Annual Inspection  reports from 1969, the Corps was known as Seaforth Highlanders of  Canada Cadet Corps.  It was sponsored and affiliated with the  Seaforth Highlanders of Canada (M).
