2276 - Fort St. John Cadet Corps

This Corps was formed 3 September 1946 as Fort St. John School  Cadet Corps.  Effective 12 Apr 49 affiliation with No. 19 Coy,  RCASC (Alaska Highway Maintenance) was authorized.  Effective 1 February 1967 it was  reaffiliated with 154 Coy RCASC (M).  Message CDS 1268 dated 25  Aug 72 advises that 450 (T) Helicopter Squadron Detachment  accepted affiliation.  In 1979 we were advised that 450 (T) Hel  Sqn Det had been renamed 447 Helicopter Squadron Detachment.   Message D Cdts 077 dated 21 Jan 85 changed affiliation to The  Rocky Mountain Rangers.  Eff 31 May 96 sponsor changed to Royal  Cdn Legion Br 102 (D Cdts Adm 458).
