The camp begins with the change of command from LCol Dengis to LCol Johnson. Cadets are given tours of the Greater Vernon Museum & Archives as well as the Vernon Fire Dept. Mr. Josh Dueck, a paraplegic athlete and Olympic Silver Medalist in the Sit-Ski competition, is the reviewing officer for the three week grad parade.
The annual battalion sports day held on reasonable 27c day, a departure from several years of very high temperatures during the sports day. A highland games event is held at H3 (Band). A Caleigh is held on Coutts Common entertaining cadets and staff with music and highland dancing.
The Guard make their annual pilgrimage to the Pleasant Valley Cemetery for the laying of the poppies and flags at the graves of veterans, from the Boer war to peacekeeping missions.
Visitors to the camp include Col Hussey, LCol Tom McNiel, D/Cadets, and LCol Alain Arsenault D/Cadets.
