The last H-Hut on the upper camp's D lines was replaced over the winter with trailers.

Change of command ceremony held on Sicily square with outgoing CO LCol Kopan and incoming CO LCol Dengis, and staff cadets and officers at beginning of camp. Six cadets from Quebec once again train at Vernon.

Training site established at Sugar Lake primarily for canoe training. 2nd year for Pioneer training. Cadets on the Pioneer course build a small footbridge at F-Coy lines in upper camp. Expedition training evolves to include mountain biking. Advanced rock and abseil continue at Skaha Bluffs. Rifle range at Heckman Creek used for C7 rifle familiarization training.

Guard Coy lay poppies and miniature flags at Pleasant Valley Cemetery as part of the citizenship training.

Band marches in Kelowna Regatta. Camp Idol held for 2nd year. Giles Dery, President Army Cadet League of Canada visits the camp. Local Dieppe vet Earle Davis is guest of honour at annual drumhead service.
