At 7:50 AM on Saturday July 6, the first 98 of 1120 cadets began arriving for summer training. Total population of the camp with staff, 1430. Besides cadet training over the course of summer, some 2341 other Regular Army, militia and cadets used the camp during the February to June period. Ski schools were conducted by CFB Calgary and 447 Sqn from Edmonton. Exercises were conducted by Militia units: Rocky Mountain Rangers, 44 Field Sqn Engineers and the BCDs.
Whitewater training returns to camp. Maple Grove was dedicated by LCol Munro and 4 former COs of the camp: LCol Kinloch, LCol Lolley, Col Beer, and LCol Ardelian. LCol D.F. Kinloch visited the camp as a reviewing officer. Sports meet held at Polson Park.
Final year for segregated companies, final year of seperate Sunset Parade. Sunset parade integrated with grad parade in future years.
