Capt Enid Carpenter was appointed OC of the company. Continuing a long tradition, Band Coy performed at the Kelowna Regatta and also at Tillicum Raceway. Hang gliding was introduced one summer, only as an extracurricular sports activity. F Coy won the sports meet.
Lt Gov Walter Owen visited camp. BGen Sellar visited camp. Rear Admiral R.J. Pickford was the grad parade reviewing officer.
At the end of 1974's camp, 40 female cadets attended in order to work out the bugs for the following summer's full attendance by females. At camps end, a platoon of senior cadets were kept and extra week and given training that would assist them for the next year. This was the development of the cadet call out NCO course.
