With the integration of the forces in 1967, the new uniforms finally filtered down. The officers were now wearing the CF dark green and work dress uniforms, with the battle dress and tropical worsteds now relegated to cadets only.
Overnight canoe trips were introduced on Lake Okanagan from Okanagan Landing to Ellison Park. Lt Gov John Nicholson visited the camp. Lt Gen G. Walsh also visited camp for the first weekly parade.
Band Coy once again toured the interior for several functions including the Penticton Peach Festival and the Kelowna Regatta. B Coy and the Guard accompanied the Band on parade in Kelowna. D & G Coys topped the sports meet, 20 records were set. The cadet canteen went through 1300 cases of pop; 1200 ice cream bars; 1500 milk shakes.
Steady rain fell on the grad parade ceremony as 1500 spectators stayed and watched, undeterred as BGen D.S. McLennan, Chief of Staff, Maritime Forces Pacific inspected the battalion. Climaxing the ceremony was the "Feu de Joi' fired by the Guard.
