The Officer Training Company trained 60 candidates under the command of Capt A.V. Stoppa. The kitchen staff totaled 140 people. Three hundred tons of food were conusmed over six weeks, including 43,000 lbs. of beef, 6,600 lbs. of pork, 3,900 lbs. of turkey, 6,400 lbs. of ham, 14,000 lbs. of butter, 13,200 cans of milk, 2,000 lbs. of fresh fish, 4,000 lbs. of chicken, 600 lbs. of bacon, 14,000 eggs, 1,630 lbs. of cheese, 85,000 lbs. of potatoes, 40,700 lbs. of fresh vegetables, 22,000 tins of vegetables, 3,600 lbs. of fresh fruit, 3,500 lbs. of jam, 2,600 lbs. of cereal, 42,000 loaves of bread, 6,300 tins of tomatoes, 13,000 oranges, 95,500 quarts of milk, 200 lbs. of tea, and 2,000 lbs. of coffee.

Pinaus Lake resort hosted a platoon each weekend, for canoeing and camping of its wooded shores. the sports program featured soccer, softball, and volleyball, in 10-team league series. The 9th annual cadet show at Polson Park featured precision drill, physical training, signals display, and survival training. The Engineers band from Chilliwack once again provided music. MGen J.M. Rockingham DSO CBE GOC Western Command attended as reviewing officer for the grad parade and cadet show
