Six Jamaican Army Cadets Trained in Vernon on exchange. Of the 162 buildings built in 1942, 106 remained. Cadets went through 42,500 rounds 7.62mm, 10,000 22 cal., and 23960 rounds of .303 ammunition on the ranges. An outdoor chapel was built at the camp with logs and materials donated by the Long Lake Logging Co. Cadets and several officers volunteered the labour for the chapel.
Guard and Band Coy paraded in the Penticton Peach Festival and Kelowna Regatta. The summer bonus of $100 included a $10 advance given twice, and a $5 advance given three times over duration of course. Weekend fishing trips to Aberdeen Lake were instituted as a reward to cadets. The 7th annual cadet show was held at Polson Park. The Engineers band from Chilliwack again played at the show.
