610 cadet arrived in Vernon on July 14, 1952. This included 20 cadet that would be going to Banff for training and 10 heading off to the Dominion of Canada Rifle Associations (DCRA) team. In 1952 all courses were 7 weeks long and included the courses from the year before, also including swim classes that were held at Lake Kalamalka by Red Cross qualified instructors. The Glenemma Range was 40 miles NW of Vernon and was leased from the Okanagan Indian Band to be used for adventure training. During the summer, cadets were given 'Cinderella' or midnight passes for the weekends. Dal Richards and his troupe of vaudeville performers put on a show at the camp for the cadets. Maj General Cris Vokes BC, BCE, DSO, CD visited the camp.
Commanding Officer: Major Keller (no photo available) was to be the camp Commanding officer for the whole summer this year, however after a couple of weeks in his command he was called to active duty in Korea. He was replaced by , from the BC Dragoons.
